I came across these ice people on the net, what an amazing way to demonstrate the danger our world is coming to if we don't take responsibility and act now. Art is an excellent vehicle for activism, particularly when it comes to public installations. The World Wildlife Fund installed an installation in Berlin, where 1,000 miniature people made of ice were placed around the city during a warm 23 degree Celsius day. Reminiscent of our currently melting polar ice caps, the result was a stunning visual reminding people of the fragility of humankind in the face of nature.
