With Giles in Australia and Daisy on a sleepover party Iris and I were home alone. So her film request for the evening was Rudolf followed by Mama Mia. Rudolf needs no further comment - except for why now- its the wrong time of year. Mama Mia is a great fun feel good film which is also rather corny. Set on an Island off Greece the scenes are beautiful. However I had forgotten about the fabric - almost in every interior shot there is a hint of Josef Frank (Swedish, as are Abba of course) I had forgotten how great his designs are, it reminded me that they were definitely worth a closer look. Above is my favourite.
