The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition

It's been a while since I went to the Summer Exhibition, I had Iris sleeping in her pram. What I like about this exhibition is that there is such a wide spectrum of style and subjects - good and bad. There is something for everyone. We are lead to believe that anyone - Joe public - can get their work displayed beside the academics of the Academy and those in demand within the current art scene. I presume this is true yet I wouldn't like to say how much space has already allocated and what percentage is left for the 'unknowns'.
