The 2009 Guinness World Record Bunting
Come and admire the brilliant bunting! Measuring 1.3 miles long, it is officially the longest line of bunting in the world, according to the Guinness Book of Records. One continuous length, the bunting was created with help from the people of Southend-on-Sea, and the resulting strip is the same length as Southend’s famous pier.
