Base Layer Complete, but Which Way?

 1m x 1m, Back to Abstract.

I had intended the picture to be as above, I'm put off as when I look it it here on a small scale I can see a face in the centre, two eyes a red nose an illuminous pink moustache and a beard with lots of muck -then there's a pyramid with black trees one to each side amid swirls curls and circles. 

 Perhaps this is better, more of a whirlwind with a low horizon.

Not that it matters - it will look very different when it is dotted.
